This is the phrase we've heard for the past 2 days. We were suppose to close last Thursday but that didn't happen so they pushed it Monday then that didn't happen it was Tuesday and then it was suppose to be today at 3. Well here we are at 6:30 and we still are not home owners!
Apparently the hold up lies with the bank itself. Because of the low interest rates everyone and their dog has refinanced. Well because of the difficult economic times banks had to cut about half the people who helped with the financing prior to the low rates. So now with the influx the banks are running way behind and hence the reason we are living in mom's basement. Hopefully we will close by the end of the week but we aren't holding our breath if we had done that we would be dead now.
