Not a whole lot going on. We planted a garden in the back yard that I'm very excited about. Its a salsa garden full of jalapenos, green peppers, onion, tomatoes( that were already killed by some frost when they were planted,dang it) spinach, strawberries and raspberries. I hope everything grows, my fingers are crossed.
This weekend while trimming our cherry tree we found a robins nest! We are so excited because you can see it pretty good from the deck of the house so we'll be able to watch the babies hatch. Also I finally saw a humming bird at my hummingbird feeder. That freaking thing has been out there now for 2 months and this is the first sighting I've had. Yeah for nature.
We're starting to work a little more on the room downstairs to get it ready for Dex. Next week and I'll be in the second trimester. This little baby is flying by I don't' think we'll be ready for him or her. Time will tell.

Number Two
So here is some crazy news... I'm knocked up! That's right, with child. We were gonna start trying in February thinking we'd get pregnant sometime in June but we were and still are one hit wonders so come November 28th (due date) there will be one more Rasmussen in the world. Watch out!
We are very excited and little thrown off by the idea of have another kid already. It sounds like a good idea in concept but now that it actaully is going to happen, well its a little mind blowing to say the least.
We haven't decided if we are going to find out the sex. We did that with Dex and it was sure fun finding out what we had when he arrived, but we are anxious to know so we'll see. That ultrasound isn't for another 10 weeks so we've got plenty of time to decide.
I'm doing pretty good the morning sickness is much worse this time around and I can't believe how exhausted I am. I've actually had to get a prescription for nausea because its been so bad, only 3 more weeks and I'll be in the 2nd trimester and hopefully free and clear of the sick stuff. My fingers are crossed. And unfortuanetly for Rich my idea of fun these days involves me in a comatose state.
So yeah there it is baby #2 coming soon to a Rasmussen family some what near you.
