Christmas

I'm really into Christmas this year everything just seems really cozy and comfy.  We set up our tree before labor thank goodness but just got around to decorating it here is what is looks like.

 

I should say this is what it should look like but this is what is really looks like.

Notice nothing on the bottom of the tree?  Well this is where Dex can reach.  At first it was ok we decorated with candy canes which he helped with.  He just loved putting them on the tree and got really excited when they stayed there.  Then he made an amazing discovery.  They're edible.  Sooooo 2.5 candy canes later we decided it might be a good idea to just decorate the top.  It still hasn't detoured him though just last night he jumped up on the fireplace and was trying to eat his way through the popcorn garland.  Gotta love his ingenuity!
